Warner Bros. has a lot of DC Comics united plates spinning right now. though many exchange projects have been announced, many of them are in unstructured states of development. One of the films we haven't heard much more or less recently is the Nightwing movie. You'd be forgiven if you thought that project had faded away, but according to director Chris McKay, that's not the case. In acceptance to a recent tweet from a enthusiast asking if the movie was dead, McKay said...

So, though the Nightwing movie isn't dead, fans shouldn't be expecting much to happen gone it anytime soon. Chris McKay doesn't go into any further detail more or less why we're going to have to wait. It could be that the movie just isn't ready yet, that the script yet needs put it on in the past things can really go anywhere. It could also just be the fact that Warner Bros. doesn't plan for Nightwing to go into production for a though and consequently there's no defense for anything more or less it to touch forward.

At this point, the DC Universe is set through the summer of 2020, gone Aquaman, Shazam!, flora and fauna of Prey, and astonishment girl 1984 each set for forgiveness higher than the next couple of years. There's also that Joker movie coming next year. If we're counting that one, it's not ration of the thesame DC universe.

After that, things get a tiny more cloudy. Matt Reeves has continued vigorous upon a Batman movie, that may or may not star Ben Affleck. If that film comes next, in say 2021, and it would make a determined amount of prudence for a Nightwing movie to follow a Batman movie, after that Nightwing could be three years away or more. If that's the case, there's really no defense for the hype train to start now.

And there's no guarantee that Nightwing will even happen that quickly. There's also a Flash solo movie that's supposed to happen, a sequel to Suicide Squad, and somewhere amongst two and 200 further projects gone Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in development, I've loose count. Oh, and Supergirl, I on the subject of forgot that one.

Still, it's great news that the Nightwing movie is yet active, even if it's not going to be upon the tummy burner for a while. He's a popular character and it's determined that a lot of people would gone to look this movie. The acceptance upon Twitter to the movie's non-death is quite strong.

So, though we may not have much news to bank account upon the Nightwing movie here for a while, save your eyes peeled because at some narrowing alongside the road that will change. gone we know what's in the works gone Nightwing, we'll have every the info here upon CinemaBlend.
